Well, today is day 2! We have just stopped for lunch and I thought I would write here now as there is Internet access available.
We left around 10 this morning and it is not 1 o'clock! The plan is to go to a town called battle and stay there! Today has been positive but there has also been a little bit of a struggel in certain areas. Some of the main roads have just been too dangerous to go on, therefore when ever I have come across a main road, I got in the car and Poppy took me accross to the nearest side road. This has happened on 3 occasions so far ...
Apart from that its going well... I wish the weather was a little bit better, as the roads are really slippery. My feet are slowly starting to ache, but its fine! Poppy has been a massive support and I am feeling confident that I will make it to Germany for Friday, 13th!
