Today has been successful. There has been a late change of plan last night and now my friend Poppy McLaughlin is driving alongside me. For that I would like to thank her has I am very grateful and it means a lot! So Poppy: Thank you!
Well, when I left in Bournemouth this morning I was excited but also nervous about my trip! It was nice that some of my friends (Poppy, Nathan and Charlie) came to wave me off. The weather seemed fine and there was nothing to worry about... and then i was off....
I enjoyed to first part route, however when I got on to the A337 I was stopped by police and was not allowed to continue my journey on this road. Therefore I had to wait for Poppy, who thankfully came and picked me up (at this point it was raining and i waited two hours :-) ) So when i got back on the road everything went pretty much smoothly.
We had lunch in "The Giddy Bridge" (we thought that name was funny!!!) in southampton and then i got back on the road and went to havant, where we stayed in a Travelodge. So yeah, that sums up my first day.
So far im feeling good, not to many aches and pains...
